Energy and Environmental Solutions
Overview
At Siemens, we design and implement customised performance based solutions that allow facility, capital and technology improvements to be made within your existing budgets. These improvements reduce operating costs while providing you additional value of new, energy efficient equipment.
The solution can be delivered under a variety of financing options and savings guarantees so you can comprehensively address your buildings energy efficiency whilst remaining rest assured that your investment is secure.
Contact Siemens Energy Efficiency for more information.
The Process
The solution will be delivered through four different stages
- Preliminary analysis:
Siemens provides you with a free report outlining budgetary costs and savings of an energy efficiency solution for your facility. Siemens will also survey your facility for possible facility improvement measures and determine the energy usage of your building's systems.
- Typical completion time: 1 month
- Detailed analysis:
Siemens provides you with a Detailed Facility Study (DFS) for a complete solution of facility improvement measures and determines the energy savings to 100% accuracy.
- Typical completion time: 2-3 months
- Implementation: planning, installation and project management:
of the solution designed at the detailed analysis stage. This stage can be delivered under an Energy Performance Contract (EPC).
- Typical completion time: 4-6months
- Guarantee phase:
Siemens performs measurement and verification (M&V) on the implemented measures and regularly reports to you the performance of the upgraded system. Siemens will work with you to incorporate operational changes and weather data into these reports.
- Typical completion time: As required by you
This process, together with Siemens' strict review process, has lead to the lowest shortfall in savings in the world at just 0.14%. The world average is 2.7%. The shortfall is equal to the savings not achieved divided by the total guaranteed savings.
